National Sales and Marketing Manager

Position in brief

Fearless is Australia’s leading creative media training and development company. We’re seeking a talented sales and marketing manager to take our business to the next level. You’ll need a proven track record in successful sales, solid contacts in both public and private sectors, and a good understanding of commercial training. You should also be familiar with graphics and digital media.

Detailed description

Our primary business is the delivery of skills-based, commercial training to corporate and government clients, specialising in the Adobe product range of digital print, web and video applications for desktop computers.
The National Sales and Marketing manager will:
  • Develop relationships with past and future customers.
  • Establish preferred supplier status with major clients.
  • Provide feedback as to what kind of training and services our clients are seeking.
  • Develop, implement and deliver a sales and marketing strategy for the company.
  • Manage and report on our online marketing campaign using Adwords and strategic banner placement.
Due the specialist nature of our business, the successful application will need:
  • A sound understanding of web graphics, print graphics and multimedia.
  • Strong computer skills, preferably with HTML/CSS or print graphics experience (those without these skills should still apply).
The position is offered for an initial trail period of 60 days, during which you will need to demonstrate a capacity to meet sales targets and improve our bottom line. If you are successful, you will be offered a 6 month contract which may eventually become permanent should your performance continue to impress.
The position is based in Sydney, Melbourne or Canberra. Send your CV and expression of interest to Moira Kirkwood, HR Manager. Shortlisted candidates will be sent a full duty statement and be asked to attend an initial phone interview.

Web Developers (Canberra + Hobart)

Looking for an established, expanding agency who will appreciate your talents? Can you cut code in your sleep? Then we want to hear from you...

We’re looking for an energetic, hard-working developer to join our studio in Canberra creating high quality web applications and multimedia solutions for national and international clients.

Solid PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, XHTML and CSS skills are essential, as is a craving for new knowledge and emerging technologies such as Web 2.0 and Ajax.

Daily tasks will include:

Active participation in studio meetings. Developing websites in PHP, XHTML, JavaScript and Flash. Maintaining and supporting client sites. Keeping up-to-date with current web and accessibility trends.

You will need:

A minimum of two year's experience developing with PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, CSS and XHTML. A good appreciation of current web trends and practices. Trainers (all locations)

We're currently seeking trainers to join our team of casual (and some permanent) trainers. You need not have taught before to apply but you will need solid experience in your area. Our customers expect a high level of expertise so you should have been working in your field for 5 to 10 years and preferably hold tertiary qualifications.

Above all else, you'll need outstanding communications skills and abundant patience. You'll need to demonstrate an ability to explain complex topics with ease to people who may have little or no background in the topic at hand. English must be your first language and your accent must be clear and easy to understand.

You'll need confidence and, ideally, an outgoing, friendly nature that people warm to and can trust. Likewise we'll need to trust you to our customers who have chosen us as their preferred supplier of knowledge so it's a big responsibility....

Think you have what it takes? Send a CV to Craig Kirkwood, Managing Director. Include an indication of which courses you believe you would be qualified to teach.
